Martin Basson is currently in partnership with Avia Connect, representing Vector Aerospace Engine Services - Atlantic (Canada) in Southern Africa. Vector Atlantic is a fully authorized Pratt & Whitney Canada Distributor and Designated Overhaul Facility.

Martin, situated in Windhoek, Namibia, is currently the local representative for Vector Aerospace Engine Services - Atlantic (Canada) in Southern Africa, in partnership with Rick Overburg (who is situated in Miami, Florida).

Martin has extensive experience in the Aviation Industry including the maintaining of aircraft as well as the performing of Quality Assurance duties and the managing of a maintenance department.

Whilst being employed by Comav (Pty) Ltd in Namibia, he built up a Quality Assurance System and estabished a Manual of Procedures and a Flight Ops Manual for the company at the time.

In addition Martin dealt extensively with various Part- and Engine suppliers i.e. Execujet (SA); CASA (Spain); Dallas Airmotive (UK); AAR Aircraft Component Services (The Netherlands); Atlantic Turbines (PEI Canada) etc.

His experience furthermore includes aircraft maintenance, fuel co-ordinating, Quality Auditing and the setting up of a QA division.
